Kibbe FAQ

What is the Kibbe body type system?

Kibbe is a style-typing system by David Kibbe. It groups people into types based on bone structure, flesh and facial lines — from sharp Dramatic to soft Romantic — and suggests the clothing lines that harmonize with each type.

Do I need photos for this Kibbe test?

No. The test uses 12 questions about your bone structure, proportions and the styles that get you compliments. It takes about two minutes.

How accurate is the result?

It gives your most likely type and the second closest, based on your answers. Treat it as a starting point: read both type descriptions and see which styling lines you actually enjoy wearing.

What are the main Kibbe types?

The five broad families are Dramatic (sharp, angular), Natural (relaxed, athletic), Classic (balanced, even), Gamine (compact, mixed) and Romantic (soft, rounded). Each has subtypes with slightly different lines.

Does Kibbe measure my body?

No. Kibbe is about your natural lines and proportions, not your size or weight. Two people with the same measurements can have different Kibbe types.
